1. Confirm your laboratory order. Have your lab form or laboratory order available. Contact the office if you are unsure which documents are required.
2. Check availability and fees. Ask whether your address is within the service area, which appointment days are available, and what the current charges will be.
3. Prepare for specimen collection. Follow any instructions provided by your ordering clinician or laboratory. Some tests require fasting or other preparation, while others do not.
4. Complete the scheduled visit. The phlebotomist collects the ordered specimens using the appropriate collection process. Not every test or specimen type may be available through mobile service.
